These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to tinydeskai.cc and the Tiny Desk AI website and creative tools (the "Service"). "Tiny Desk AI," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of the Service.
By visiting the Service, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility and Accounts
The Service is not intended for children under 13. You must be at least 13 to use it. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account, except to the extent it results from our failure to use reasonable security measures.
If you sign in with Google, your use of Google's sign-in service is also subject to Google's terms and privacy policy.
The Service
Tiny Desk AI is designed to turn a portrait into a vertical, desk-concert-inspired performance video. The studio currently generates 9:16 videos at 720p, with each generation using 10 credits, and offers one-time credit packs. Generation, checkout, or other features may be in beta, preview, or temporarily unavailable. We may modify or discontinue features as the Service and its providers evolve.
AI results can be inaccurate, unexpected, incomplete, or similar to results created for other users. We do not guarantee a particular result, generation time, model, resolution, or uninterrupted availability.
Your Content and Generated Results
"Your Content" means a portrait, image, prompt, file, or other material that you submit to the Service. You keep the rights you hold in Your Content. When you submit content for a Service feature, you give Tiny Desk AI and the providers needed for that feature a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, process, and modify it only as needed to provide, secure, and support that feature, enforce these Terms, and comply with law.
You are responsible for Your Content. You must own it or have the permissions and legal rights needed to submit it, including permission from identifiable people shown in it.
As between you and Tiny Desk AI, you may use results generated for you for lawful personal or commercial purposes, subject to applicable law and third-party rights. We do not claim ownership of your inputs or generated results. AI results may not be unique or eligible for intellectual-property protection, and you are responsible for reviewing them before use.
Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to upload, request, generate, or distribute content that:
- Sexually exploits or sexualizes a minor, or depicts child sexual abuse material.
- Is sexually explicit, non-consensual intimate imagery, or a sexual deepfake.
- Depicts a public figure or a minor (anyone under 18).
- Uses a real person's likeness to deceive, defraud, harass, threaten, or impersonate them without authorization.
- Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, severe violence, or hateful abuse against a protected group.
- Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other third-party rights.
- Violates law or is used for fraud, phishing, malware, harassment, or other harmful activity.
You may not bypass safeguards, access controls, usage limits, or payment requirements, or interfere with the Service or its providers.
Content Reports and Review
To report content that may violate these Terms or someone else's rights, email support@tinydeskai.cc with the subject "Content or rights report." Include the page or video URL, generation ID if available, a brief description of the concern, and any information that helps us verify a rights claim. Please do not send sensitive personal information that is not needed to review the report.
We review reports, may ask for additional information, and assess the reported content and available context. While a review is underway, we may temporarily restrict access to content or related features when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, or prevent further harm. If we determine that content or use violates these Terms, we may remove or disable access to the content, restrict generation, suspend or close the responsible account, and take other appropriate steps, including contacting a provider or authorities where required.
If you are affected by a restriction and believe it was made in error, reply to our email with the generation ID and relevant details so we can review the decision. We will communicate the outcome through the contact email provided.
One-Time Video Packs and Credits
Each paid video pack is a one-time purchase. Packs do not renew automatically, and Tiny Desk AI does not offer recurring subscriptions through these packs. The amount, credit quantity, and resolution cost will be displayed before you place an order.
Credits are valid for 180 days from purchase, are not transferable, and have no cash value except where required by law. A generation uses the number of credits shown for the selected resolution. If our system records a generation as failed, the credits charged for that attempt will be returned to your balance.
Except where required by law or stated at checkout, completed purchases are final once credits are delivered or used. A credit return for a failed generation is not a cash refund. Contact support@tinydeskai.cc about duplicate charges, unauthorized charges, or billing errors. Payment providers may apply their own terms and fees.
Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on third-party authentication, AI processing, hosting, storage, and payment services. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not operate.
Tiny Desk AI is an independent creative service. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by NPR, NPR Music, or the official Tiny Desk Concert series.
Our Intellectual Property
The Service's software, interface, branding, and other platform materials belong to Tiny Desk AI or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service. They do not transfer ownership of the Service or allow you to use our branding without permission.
Suspension and Changes
We may refuse a request, limit or suspend access, or close an account if we reasonably believe there is a breach of these Terms, fraud, a security risk, or harm to users, providers, or the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may update these Terms as the Service or law changes. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. If a change materially affects users, we will provide additional notice where required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
Disclaimers and Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and its results are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, unique, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tiny Desk AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption. Our total liability for claims related to the Service will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law.
